In south west Dartmoor National Park and easily accessible from Princetown, Tavistock and Plymouth.

Burrator's beautiful. A big reservoir bordered by woods and impressive tors, it compares to the stunning valleys and cleaves that fringe the Park.

Sharpitor, Leather Tor and Sheeps Tor all offer top views. Try the Leather Tor Circular Walk (Medium).

If you're looking for a long day out, visit either Drizzlecombe Ceremonial Complex And Settlements in the Upper Plym Valley which is to the south east of the reservoir or head north to the dramatic quarries by King's Tor.
