If you head out onto the moors or hills of Dartmoor National Park, it's very likely you'll see Dartmoor Ponies. We've photographed ponies and their foals all over the Park and, because they're free to roam, it's difficult to recommend exact locations in which to see them.
Given Dartmoor's mining history, the ponies have worked the moors for centuries. Today, they have Rare Breed status.
Look out for other breeds of ponies, too. Some of the Shetlands are tiny and unbelievably cute!
