One of many wooded valleys, cleaves and gorges that fringe the moors. Tavy Cleave is to the west of the Park, just up the road form Mary Tavy. The cleave was cut by the River Tavy.

The area's great for walking. The views down to the cleave from Ger Tor are superb, the walk along the River Tavy a treat. To your north are Hare Tor and Great Links Tor.

If you're into this type of landscape then we'd recommend visiting the Teign Gorge and Dart Gorge, Lustleigh Cleave and the area around Burrator Reservoir.
